Ideal for smaller ceremonies and receptions for max 70 people. Should you wish to keep it simple on board and combine with solid ground we cooperate with the Wharf Kitchen and Bar for pre or after party options. Enquire about our wedding/reception packages which includes both land and sea venues for 70 people, with a 2 hour boat cruise and event room at Raglan Wharf Kitchen and Bar.
Family or Friends GatheringPicture an idyllic afternoon with your loved one, where our crew handles the BBQ while you enjoy swimming, trying out water toys, and sipping drinks from our licensed bar. We'll customize the cruise just for you and your family's enjoyment.
Educational CruiseOur boat serves as an educational platform. Whether you're a school group or any other, our skipper will enlighten everyone about Whaingaroa, Raglan, covering topics like nature, history, and the ecosystem. Additionally, we can arrange for the boat to dock, providing safe access for your group to explore the beach via the Te Akau side using our front ramp.

About the Raglan Harbour
With over 140 kms of coastline covering 3185ha in area the Whaingaroa (Raglan harbour) is a nationally recognised conservation area with more than 2 million trees planted over the past decade, a designated bird sanctuary with stunning geologic features ranging from limestone formations overlain by volcanic basalts, clays, black sand dunes and pumice stone. The skipper and crew are extremely knowledgeable and present our local history. Relax and be at one with the bird and marine life in their habitat.
Whaingaroa (Raglan) Harbour is an important habitat for resident, rare and threatened, and international migratory bird species. The critically endangered Maui’s Dolphin has been recorded in Raglan Harbour.
About the Wahinemoe
“Wahinemoe” – Maori for Resting Lady and named after our resident volcanoe Karioi– Is a purpose built 14 x 4.8m catamaran with all the comforts of an entertainer’s dream boat. For Scenic Harbour Cruises and Functions Wahinemoe and her experienced local crew deliver an unprecedented safe and relaxing tour. Extremely stable and maneuverable in the shallows make it easy to access many of the harbours’ hidden bays and gets deep into the upper reaches of Whaingaroa (Raglan Harbour).
The harbour is a site of cultural significance for Tainui iwi.
