Your 90 minute Sunset Cruise starts from Raglan Wharf heading off to explore the beauty of the Whaingaroa Harbour conservation area. Cruise among the marine wildlife, ancient limestone formations and beautiful coastline where more than 2 million trees have been planted. You will be guided with fascinating tales about the history and culture of this very special area.

Raglan Sunset Cruises are narrated with historical facts, stories and a good slice of local humor and hospitality. We have Maori speakers and environmental scientists onboard to enlighten your experience. We follow sustainable environment practises.
Licensed Bar and snacks aboard.
EFTPOS & Credit Card Facilities aboard.
Please arrive 15 mins before your departure time.
Sailing is “generally” departing 1 hour before Sunset.
We restricted passengers to maximum 50, walk ons are possible if the boat is not sold out.
Sorry no pets on board.
Option to add fish n chips for $15 is available up to 3 hours prior to boarding only.
Last minute bookings online do not include meal options as we can not guarantee availability.

About the Raglan Harbour

With over 122 kms of coastline the Whaingaroa (Raglan harbour) is a nationally recognised conservation area with more than 2 million trees planted over the past 10 years, a designated bird sanctuary and stunning geologic features ranging from limestone formations overlain by volcanic basalts, clays and pumices. The skipper and crew are extremely knowledgeable and present all our local history. Relax and be at one with the bird and marine life in their habitat.

For Scenic Harbour Cruises and Functions Wahinemoe and her experienced local crew deliver an unprecedented safe and relaxing tour. Extremely stable and maneuverable in the shallows make it easy to access many of the harbours’ hidden bays and gets deep into the upper reaches of Whaingaroa (Raglan Harbour).
